Mandy Moore, Ryan Adams Divorce News: Former Couple Works On Custody Over Pets
Mandy Moore and Ryan Adams are currently in the process of their divorce. Even though they have no offspring, a problem that they are trying to solve right now is the custody of their pets.
Yes, you read that right. They are actually working on the papers for the pet support of their six cats and two dogs.
According to TMZ via US Magazine, Moore has been taking care of all the animals after Adams promised that he would take at least two cats.
Moore has also requested for spousal support from Adam. Adam takes home about $151,000 per month, while Moore makes less than a quarter of that amount, according to TMZ.
Mandy Moore now wants Ryan to pay her $37,000 every month until they work out the divorce terms. Also, she now wants Adams to take four of their pets, instead of the two that was initially promised.
"Although I love our pets, it is overwhelming for me to take care of eight of them all of the time," Moore wrote according to People.com. Moore added that she needs the help of Adams regarding the matter so she could focus on her work.
Moore filed for divorce last January after a six-year marriage. "It is a respectful, amicable parting of ways," the artists' representative told E! Online.
Both have moved in their careers since the announcement of their split. Adams released a cover album of Taylor Swift's 1989while Mandy Moore stars in the upcoming drama series, "47 Meters Down."
