Recent reports claimed that there will be a 'Maleficent' sequel although the release date is still unknown. Reports suggest that the blockbuster Disney original which was turned into a motion picture started working on the film by hiring a new screen writer.

The reported new screen writer was said to be Linda Woolverton for the part two of the 2014 box office film 'Maleficent' which starred the renowned actress Angelina Jolie as the main character Maleficent herself.

After reports surfaced that there will be a new screen writer that would bring a new taste in the rumored film series, rumors are now focusing on reporting if Jolie will be part of the second film if there is indeed one in the making.

There are still no confirmations regarding the issue but it is less likely true according to several reports as the film was famous for Jolie taking the role and it will definitely be hard to imagine a different Maleficent if there will be a second film.

Jolie herself previously stated how much she loves playing her character. "I loved being Maleficent. I was quite sad to put my staff down and put my horns away because somehow, she just lives in a different world," she reportedly said at that time.

Jolie even revealed how she was even practicing at home and scaring her kids to better her role playing. "But I did have to take my staff home to practice walking with it in my cloak, and then I would go outside and scream at the bushes to expand my voice and play with my voice. So, mom was a bit nutso for a period," she said.

The film also casted Jolie's children with Vivienne Jolie-Pitt as the young Princess Aurora as well as Pax and Zahara Jolie-Pitt which Jolie reportedly said that absolutely made her happy. "I love that christening scene so much and of course we've watched it at home [in the animated film] as a family. I had to walk by them being very mean. Of course, I wanted to stop and wink at them," she said of the scene where her two other kids were a part of in the previous film.

Fans would definitely be waiting for confirmation about all the details in the second film and if there will be more of Jolie's family in it.
