'Mafia 3' Release Date News: Game to Come Out This Month? Available on PS4, Xbox One, PC
Good news for all "Mafia" fans out there. It has been a while since the last Mafia game was released, but you guys don't have to worry no more since according to the game's developer, "Hangar 13," the third Mafia game will be released sometime this year.
The game will revolve around Lincoln Clay, a Vietnam veteran who grew up as an orphan. After serving in the military, he found comfort being part of a mob. After a tragic incident of his family being taken out by the Italian mob, Lincoln seeks revenge; creating his own mob and will go ahead and try to go after the ones responsible for the killings. According to Ecumenical News, the protagonist will be voiced over by actor Alex Hernandez.
There is no confirmation date yet on the release of the game. However, there are speculations that the game will come out on April 26. According to IGN, 2k games didn't deny nor confirm on the said date.
Mafia is a third-person shooter open-world mob video game which was developed by Illusion Softworks and published by Gathering. The upcoming game will now be developed by Hangar 13 and published by 2k Games. The game will be set at around 1968 somewhere in New Orleans.
The very first Mafia game was release in August 28, 2002. The franchise has more than five million copies sold world-wide and the numbers will continue to rise upon the release of the third game. The game will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
