Madeline Stuart News: Model With Down Syndrome to Walk for New York Fashion Week
Famous model Madeline Stuart may be at the height of her modelling career as she just recently revealed that she will be walking her first New York Fashion Week Show. The famous model who has been an inspiration for many aspiring models suffers from Down syndrome but is apparently achieving the dreams of many girls in general.
Stuart is only 18 years old but now has the opportunity to walk the catwalk and live the lives of the models she she's on TV. To be given this opportunity must have meant a lot for the model who proudly shared her accomplishment on her social media last week.
Posting a photo of the poster for the show, Stuart wrote, "Guess who is modelling in NY for New York Fashion Week xx," she wrote as a caption to the photo posted on her Instagram account showing herself posing in an Ad for NYFW with a hashtag that read: "#FashionFreeFromConfines" that will be held on September 13, 4 pm at the Vanderbilt Hall for the brand FTL Moda.
The brand also reposted the same photo of Stuart on Facebook and wrote the caption, "It is with the utmost joy and pride that we announce Madeline Stuart's participation in #FTLModa #NYFW #SS2016 presentation. Beautiful Madeline will brighten up the runway at the #VanderbiltHall on September 13th 2015. Stay tuned and RSVP!"
It seems like a whirlwind that Stuart will be on the catwalk walking alongside famous runway models and looked up to by several girls worldwide and apparently, Stuart's mother, being very proud knows that this will indeed be a special event in her daughter's life.
"When we were asked to do New York Fashion Week, I wasn't surprised at all," her mother previously told Cosmopolitan Magazine. "I don't think anything really surprises me anymore. She's been asked to do a lot of stuff and I was hoping to she'd get asked to do NYFW but I assumed it would happen. I hope that doesn't sound too pretentious," she added.
