'Madam Secretary' Season 3 Episode 10 Spoilers & Recap: Elizabeth McCord Steps Up To Control Impending War Between Israel And Iran

"Madam Secretary" is set to release its final episode for the year on Sunday.

In episode 10 titled "The Race," US Secretary of State, Elizabeth McCord, will step up to find a resolution after learning that the war between Israel and Iran is heavily impacted by the forthcoming US presidential elections. Since the ongoing war poses a huge threat to the world, Elizabeth will find a way to control the situation.

In the previous episode, it was revealed that Iran was afraid that presidential candidate Sam Evans would win the elections and call off all agreements with them. Despite Elizabeth's efforts at conciliation, an Israeli terrorist group bombed Iran's plane, leaving the entire country on red alert.

Based on the synopsis for episode 10, Elizabeth will attempt yet again to negotiate with both countries and settle their issues.

The synopsis also reveals that the upcoming episode will reveal the fate of Russell Jackson following his sudden collapse in episode 9. While there are no conclusive details yet about his heart attack, fans can expect episode 10 to shed light on his real condition. A recent report says that it is possible to lose a major character amidst the controversial US presidential elections.

Episode 10 will see the return of guest star Emelyn Daly, who portrays Henry McCord's niece, Sarah. John Ellison will also return as Shane McCord, Nilaja Sun as Juliet, David Wohl as Israeli Ambassador Lior Dori, Linda Emond as Carol Jackson and Sandra Daley as Adele Steele.
