In the 13th episode of "Madam Secretary" season 2, the story might focus on Henry McCord (played by Tim Daly) and his family.

Episode 13 which is entitled "Invasive Species," already released an official synopsis (via Econotimes) which reads:

"After his father's death, Henry's family uncovers shocking secrets that open old wounds for them, including his grieving sister Maureen (Kate Burton), who blames Henry for not spending enough time at home. Also, Russell keeps important information from Elizabeth's team at the State department."

Henry's sister, Maureen, played by guest star Kate Burton, will deal with Henry since his work has been affecting the whole family. It seems that Maureen is upset and wants some changes to happen for the betterment of the family especially just after a certain family tragedy.

In other news, Madam Secretary drew 11.3 million total viewers and a 2.0 rating on Sunday according to TV Line. It was the best numbers that the show has achieved since the premiere and it also had a season high in the demo. TV Line also honored Tim Daly with the Performer of the Week for January 10 episode entitled "Unity Node."

"Daly's distress at being at the intersection of so many emotions, without resolution in sight, was palpable," according to Team TV Line.

Fans should not miss the next episode of the second season of "Madam Secretary." With everything that's happening in the story right now, it is definitely something to watch out for. The episode will be aired on January 31 only on CBS.
