Recent news about 'Mad Men' star Jon Hamm makes mention that the actor has successfully completed a 30-day rehab stint, nearly a week before his show's premiere on April 5^th. Hamm was reportedly being treated for alcohol abuse, however the actor's condition has never been made public until now.

The actor's camp released this statement to Variety:

"With the support of his longtime partner Jennifer Westfeldt, Jon Hamm recently completed treatment for his struggle with alcohol addiction. They have asked for privacy and sensitivity going forward."

Hamm was reportedly being treated in Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, Conn., at the end of February.

"Ironically, Hamm truly has been answering questions about the similarities and/or differences between himself and Draper-the booze-fueled, womanizing, riddled-with-demons ad man he plays on TV-for years now," writes NBC News.
