It has been confirmed that the actor Tom Hardy is signed to make three more Mad Max movies, after the successful completion of the latest movie, "Mad Max: Fury Road.'

"Mad Max: Fury Road' is a post-apocalyptic action film that revolves around the character Mad Max and his escape from his captors. The movie is directed, produced and co-written by George Miller. The movie is set to release on May 15, 2015.

The movie stars Hardy, Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Hugh Keays-Byrne, Josh Helman, John Howard and Richard Carter.

Speaking to Esquire Magazine about the film's further plans, Miller said, "In order to tell this story, we came up with two others. We've written the screenplay of one and the novelization of another, but it's a very rough novel."

On a side not, just last week, Warner Bros. released the trailer of the upcoming movie.

Speaking about the making of the film, Hardy said, "Just getting things to and from the set was a nightmare. We'd lose half a vehicle in sand and have to dig it out. It was just this unit in the middle of x-million square-kilometres of desert, and then this group of lunatics in leathers, ... or a Hell's Angels convention. It was like Cirque du Soleil meets Slipknot."

"I've never been more excited and out of my comfort zone," Hardy told Esquire, adding that he thinks the film is "unbelievable."
