MacOS Sierra Release Date, Features: Set For Fall Launch; A Touchbar To Replace Function Keys

Apple recently invited all of their employees to test their recent macOS 10.12. The latest version of the Mac's operating system is scheduled to be released any time soon and the company wants its very own employees to be the first ones to try out their latest innovation when it comes to computing.

Apple released the invitation at the recent Worldwide Developers Conference, according to 9 to 5 mac.

"We know you enjoy getting your hands on Apple's latest technology. With that in mind, all team members are invited to participate in a pre-release in the macOS 10.12 seed program."

It was also stated that the testing of their newest OS is not a form of forcing their employees to use the product to find any bugs or glitches, rather, it's a privilege and is a hundred percent voluntary to all employees using their own personal computers.

Apple also unveiled its macOS Sierra recently. The OS X was changed to macOS and Siri greeted everyone through the operating system. That, was one of the highlights of the night. Also, Apple showcased the macOS Sierra's capability to auto-unlock throug the use of an Apple Watch. There is also a new universal clipboard introduced which is accessible across devices such as iOS, Apple Pay for the web, and also a brand new auto-storage optimization option.

In addition, according to IT Pro UK, a new Mac Touchbar might replace the function keys that the current OS has. The sources suggest that an L.E.D. 'Do not disturb' button may be added on the product.

The macOS Sierra will be released in Fall but before that, they will launch a public beta next month.
