MacOS Sierra News: Beta Will Be Available Next Month?
After the macOS Sierra was unveiled in the WWDC, fans have been lapping up all the news reports surrounding the latest desktop operating system from Apple.
According to the latest news, the macOS will be available around September or October at the latest, but a beta version can already be accessed as early as next month since the developer preview is already out now.
"There is the option of joining the public beta program to get early access to macOS Sierra, which is likely to begin in July," reported MacWorld. "If you join the public beta program you'll be able to download and install a pre-release build of the software and try it out for yourself."
Being that it's still in beta, those who download the program should expect some glitches and bugs, so they should refrain from making any judgment at the outset.
In other news, Ars Technica said that despite the hype surrounding the macOS Sierra, it still feels like the same old Mac; that means a lot of cosmetic refinements, but not a whole lot of revolutionary changes. The Mac has really been left behind when compared to all the Apple flagship products like the iPhone and the iPad.
And Apple seemed content about just making a few tweaks to help make the Mac keep up with its more technologically advanced brothers.
"The name has changed, but otherwise it's business as usual for ... macOS," it said.
Watch out for more news updates on the macOS Sierra, and there should be plenty of reviews that will come out soon when the beta becomes available.
