Maci Bookout, the 23-year-old reality television star of Teen Mom OG fame, is now a mother of two. Bookout and her longtime boyfriend, Taylor McKinney welcomed a new addition to their family on May 29^th, a baby girl called Jayde Carter.

This is Bookout's second child, her first being her son, Bentley Edwards, who is six years old.

Bookout tweeted he news of her daughter's birth, writing, "Jayde made her grand entrance at 1:59 pm today. She weighed 7 lbs 15 oz at birth. She is beautiful and as healthy as can be! @tmon3yy".

On April 27, Bookout enjoyed a lovely baby shower in honor of her daughter's pending arrival.

She thanked her family and friends for throwing her the wonderful shower through her Instagram page, posting a photo in which she posed with her friends wearing a stunning purple maxi dress.

Of course, there is no doubt that Bookout loves her first child, Bentley, unconditionally, however, she admits that it was not easy being a mother as a teenager.

When she found out that she was pregnant this time, she said that she felt much better, knowing that she would be ready to take on the challenge.

"It's a positive experience and I feel like I'm allowed to be happy and allowed to be excited," said Bookout in an interview with E! News.

"Before it was just negative. I wanted to hide from the world and not talk about it because I was only 16. It's been nice to be able to enjoy it."
