MacBook Pro & MacBook Air 2016 Release Date Rumors: Will the New Apple Devices Launch Next Year?
Apple fans everywhere cannot wait to get their hands on the new set of laptops that are set to launch from the tech titan's stable. While there is no official release date confirmed for either the MacBook Pro or the MacBook Air 2016, rumors and speculations are afloat that they'll be launched early next year.
According to a recent report done by Master Herald, Apple stands a chance to release the new MacBooks earlier than usual to get a "better position on the market." While this information has not yet been confirmed it, if it is true, then it's definitely against the grain in regards to Apple releases.
For those that may not know, Apple tends to announce their new releases in September or October in an given year, however, if a release date announcement is given sooner, than they'll be available a few months before the start of Q4.
Beyond that, these rumors are also fueled by the fact that retailers are going ahead and lowering their prices on current generation notebooks. This type of pattern is usually seen if there's going a newer version of the laptop on the horizon.
Stepping into some of the specs that Apple users can expect with the new devices, there are some rumors floating about regarding them. According to the Christian Post "the MacBooks will have two different versions, a 13-inch and a 15-inch version. Intel Skylake processors are reportedly going to power the laptops, and will have Type-C USB support. The MacBook Air and Pro 2016 are also said to get Nvidia GeForce GTX 950 graphics and the new OS X El Capitan."
While Apple has remained silent on the release dates and specs of these two upcoming devices, users should keep and eye open and an ear out for information about a sudden launch or announcement.
