MacBook Pro 2016 Release Date Rumors, Specs: Newest MacBook Features Touchscreen With Skylake Processor?
It may be time for a new MacBook Pro update since it has been a while since we have heard anything from Apple regarding their upcoming laptops.
According to Australian News Network, since the Apple released two versions of the MacBook Pro 2015 in March and in May, there might be a high possibility that they will be including a new MacBook Pro launch in the Apple event which is bound to happen just a few hours from now.
If in case it doesn't happen by then, it will probably happen at Apple's Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) in June according to MacWorld UK.
Also, according to Digital Trends, the new MacBook Pro will carry Intel's new "Skylake." The new chips were supposed to be installed in to the boards of last year's MacBook units but there was just a delay on Intel's part. However, the chips that Apple used were still quite new since the oldest that they used were made some time around the third quarter of 2014. Not to mention that they are all running on a quad-core Broadwell chip.
The new MacBook was also reported to be much lighter compare to its older versions. There may be a time that they will drop both "Pro" and "Air" and name it "MacBook" since these products have all achieved great limits in terms of their thinness and weight.
The new MacBook will also feature the USB Type-C but will still likely put in more of the usual USB ports that they had in the past since the new USB Type-C isn't as common as the older versions yet.
