Macbook Pro 2016 News & Update, Rumors: Wait Finally Over As Apple's Event Invites Now Out?

The MacBook Pro 2016 will reportedly be unveiled after Apple's Sept. 7 event along with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, if the news and rumors are to be believed.

According to Bloomberg news, among the products that will be launched two months from now is the Macbook Air and the MacBook Pro 2016, which will be thinner and come with a flatter keyboard.

Another addition to the new notebook is the function key display on top of the keyboard which allows for quicker access to tasks. The report described this new feature on the Macbook Pro 2016 as the dynamic function row, although there's no official news yet from Apple to confirm this rumor.

Dynamic is the perfect word to describe this feature because the function keys change depending on the task at hand.

The rumors and news reports on the MacBook Pro 2016 have been on overdrive even before the WWDC event last June when the notebook was supposed to have been launched. Obviously, that didn't happen but it didn't stop people from speculating that the new device will come out before the year is up.

There are rumors going around that the MacBook Pro 2016 will be equipped with new hinges in what are described as "metal injection molding," taking after the Surface Pro. According to the rumors, as shared by Tech Radar, this new contraption is made by Ampenol.

In terms of the chips, the MacBook Pro 2016 will reportedly stick to Intel Skylake processors even when the other tablets are already equipped with the seventh generation Kaby Lake. However, there's no news confirmation from Apple on that regard.
