Macbook Air Retina 2015 Release Date, Specs Rumors: Latest Apple Device Launches Spring 2015?
It's an interesting time to be an Apple enthusiast, especially with new and highly-anticipated devices announced for the year 2015, namely the Macbook Air Retina.
It has been heavily rumored as to what techies can expect in the unveiling of this new Apple laptop. Evidently the 2015 Macbook Air will have a Retina display, a feature we've seen last year in various Apple devices.
The problem with previous devices with the Retina capability was largely the battery life. However, it has been assured that Apple has been working on this shortcoming in the release of this new Macbook Air.
Tech Radar reports, "The MacBook Pro with Retina was a great upgrade by featuring high-resolution IPS display. However, the better display quality takes a toll on the battery life. Apple is reportedly working on the creation of the MacBook Air Retina which combines the best of both worlds by featuring excellent quality resolution, slim and lightweight design, and excellent battery life."
To combat the new high-quality display, the Macbook will feature a brand new processor, the Intel Broadwell-U. This way the laptop can not only perform better, but still keep it's lightweight slim build.
Along with this, users are also expecting wireless charging and integration with other various Apple devices.
A statement from KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reads, "We expect the unprecedented 12 inch model will boast both the portability of the 11 inch model, and productivity of the 13 inch model. The high resolution display will also offer the outstanding visual experience of the Retina MacBook Pro."
Adding, "The offering will likely be lighter and slimmer than the existing MacBook Air to further highlight ease of portability in the cloud computing era."
The new Macbook Air Retina is believed to be released this year in the Spring.
