It seemed like a whirlwind when actress Lucy Liu announced the arrival of her new bundle of joy, her son, who was born last week via a gestational carrier. While some parents may be very strict in releasing photos of their children especially in the Hollywood life, Liu is apparently just simply happy to share to everyone her adorable baby boy.

Liu is indeed a proud mother and wants to share with the whole world just how happy she is with Baby Rockwell Lloyd Liu. She just recently updated her social media once again posting yet another sweet photo of her little one all warm and cozy in a perfect swaddle.

Liu apparently wanted to make the day special by thanking those supporting her newfound life with Baby Rockwell as she wrote, "Rockwell and I so appreciate your warm wishes," the proud Liu wrote on Twitter while alongside the photo of her giving a sweet smile towards her little baby boy who was then sound asleep.

It seemed like Rockwell took his mom's genes well as he seemingly bares a sweet pair of little eyes just like his mom although it may really be too early to tell, if he'll keep the resemblance.

The news came about when Liu apparently announced herself the arrival of baby Rockwell in a previous Twitter post writing "Introducing the new little man in my life, my son Rockwell Lloyd Liu. In [love]," showing a black and white photo of her and her baby that just came out. It was indeed a rare sight to see but it was a beautiful one.

Liu's rep then confirmed in a statement to E! News saying, "I can confirm that Lucy Liu is the proud mother of Rockwell Lloyd Liu, brought into the world via gestational carrier."

"Mom and baby are healthy and happy," the rep added.
