The Louisville Cardinals will go head-to-head against the FIU Golden Panthers on December 5 at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

The Cardinals (6-0) are looking to lengthen their winning streak to seven games when they host the Florida International Golden Panthers on Friday night, after their recent 64-55 victory versus the Ohio State Buckeyes (on Tuesday night) after Louisville guard/forward Wayne Blackshear scored 22 points in order to propel his squad to the win.

"My teammates found me in open spots," said Blackshear to reporters after he nailed 4 three-pointers in the game.

"I was able to knock down shots and just be aggressive."

In addition, Louisville guard Terry Rozier had 11 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists in the game despite injuring his left pinkie finger in the second half.

"I just tried to do other things," said Rozier to reporters after he sealed the victory by hitting a major three-pointer with 46 seconds left in game.

"I got seven rebounds tonight just trying to help the team in other areas.

"Then I stayed patient, and my shot came late in the game so it was good that I got to knock down that shot."

Meanwhile, the Golden Panthers (5-3) are hoping to extend their winning streak to two games when they face the Cardinals on Friday.

Previously, FIU defeated the Kennesaw St Owls by the final score of 59-38 (on December 2) where guard Dennis Mavin totaled 16 points and 8 rebounds in the victory.
