Sibling gospel group The Showers on Tuesday appeared on CBN's The 700 Club in a morning performance broadcast on the Disney-ABC Television Group cable network Freeform (formerly ABC Family), with a late evening re-run. The television appearance came off the heels of the two-time Stellar Award-nominated group making a major appearance at ESSENCE Fest in New Orleans, La., last week.

Comprised of seven out of ten siblings, The Showers originated in a Christian household in Hammond, La., using their music to express their faith and spread the Lord's message to others. The group consists of six sisters, singers Angela, Ciara, Melody, Regina, Tabitha, and Tiffany, and one brother, lead singer Titus, all born and raised in Hammond, where their father is a pastor and mother serves as a missionary.

In 2014, The Showers released their national debut album, The Showers Family Group, on their family-owned record label A&P Records, which spawned the two Billboard Top 25 Gospel Airplay radio singles, "Better," peaking at No. 13, and "Immediately," peaking at No. 24, both written and produced by acclaimed singer-songwriter Deon Kipping.

Last year, the group released their sophomore effort, The Journey, produced by Tasha Page-Lockhart and Bruce Robinson, Jr. The album debuted at No. 1 on Nielsen Soundscan's Top Current Albums chart, earning the group a Stellar Award nomination this year for Contemporary Group of the Year. The Journey became one of the Top 15 Highest Gospel Sales debuts of 2017.

The 700 Club is hosted by Pat Robertson, Gordon P. Robertson, Terry Meeuwsen, and Wendy Griffith, and the Freeform network broadcasts to 92 million households in the U.S. and is available to satellite, digital, IPTV, and digital streaming providers, including,  DirecTV (Ch. 311), DISH Network (Ch. 180), AT&T U-Verse (Ch. 1178), Verizon FiOS (Ch. 699 HD), Comcast, Sling TV, DirecT Now, PlayStation, and Hulu Live Vue.
