Louis Tomlinson of One Direction is going to have to put another hat on very soon. Although he recently called it quits with his girlfriend, Eleanor Calder in March 2015, the singer is now expecting his first child with twenty three year old Briana Jungwirth.

The news was quite shocking, even making the news of Zayn Malik quitting One Direction in early 2015 seem like nothing at all.

A source close to the singer spoke to People magazine about the development. "Louis is happy and very excited about becoming a dad and he thinks Briana will be an amazing mother," said the insider. "It was a surprise at first, but he and Briana are very, very close friends and this has brought them even closer."

The report also says that Louis has promised to be involved with the baby as much as possible.

Jungwirth, who is three months pregnant, according to reports, is just a good friend of Tomlinson's. He is probably thrilled that he will soon be a father.

It also seems that both Jungwirth's and Tomlinson's parents are supporting their decision. The pair's parents spent some time together in Los Angeles recently, after receiving the news.

In addition, Tomlinson's mother is a mid wife, and she is prepared to guide Jungwirth through her first pregnancy.

"She's been able to give advice and has been a great source of support for Briana," continues the source, also sharing that Tomlinson has been looking for a home to buy near Jungwirth's home in Los Angeles.
