The Blackhawks (30-15-2) are attempting to stretch their winning streak to three games when they go head-to-head with the Kings on Wednesday night.
Previously, the Blackhawks defeated the Pittsburgh Penguins by a final score of 3-2 in a shootout, highlighted by right winger Patrick Kane who scored the game winning goal on January 21.
"We have great confidence. Our goaltender can make stops and we have shooters who like to be in that situation. We like our odds given the circumstance," said Chicago center Jonathan Toews to reporters.
"Even if things aren't going so well, we're good at taking responsibility for it and not dragging our feet around and dwelling on what we're not doing or what's not going our way. We just find ways that we can make things better, and we showed an example of that in the last two games."
Meanwhile, the defending Stanley Cup Champion Kings (20-15-12) are trying to halt a potential five game losing streak when they host the Blackhawks at the Staples Center.
Previously, the Kings were defeated by the San Jose Sharks by a final score of 4-2 on January 21, highlighted by Los Angeles' Dustin Brown and Jeff Carter each scored a goal in a losing effort.
"We have to do a better job in certain areas," said Kings defenseman Robyn Regehr to reporters.
"We can't afford to give up two power-play goals and expect to win, especially on the road. We can all just do a better job."
The game begins at 10:30 pm ET on and can be viewed on TV on the NBC Sports network or online through live stream by clicking here.
