The Brooklyn Nets will clash with the Los Angeles Clippers on January 22 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

The Clippers (28-14) are trying to win three consecutive games when they host the Nets at the Staples Center.

Previously, the Clippers defeated the Boston Celtics by a final score of 102-93 on January 19 after Los Angeles power forward Blake Griffin had 22 points and 9 rebounds in the victory.

"A lot of stuff that DJ does doesn't show up on the stats," said Clippers point guard Chris Paul to reporters in reference to his teammate DeAndre Jordan totaling 19 points and 12 rebounds versus Boston.

"If he goes up there and contests a shot, doesn't block it and somebody else gets the rebound, that doesn't show up on your phone. It's just one of those things where you've got to be selfless. I think DJ is one of those guys; we don't do any of this stuff without him."

Meanwhile, the Nets (18-24) are looking to extend their winning streak to two games when they battle the Clippers on Thursday night.

The Nets defeated the Sacramento Kings by a final score of 103-100 after Brooklyn center Brook Lopez had 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 blocks in the victory on January 21.

"Down the stretch they went small and became more aggressive and we couldn't run our offense," said Nets head coach Lionel Hollins to reporters.

"But we hung in there and got the win."
