With "Longmire" season 5 officially in production, it has been revealed the the upcoming season installation of the crime drama television series will revolve on Longmire's (Robert Taylor) personal life, along with his romantic dynamics with Dr. Monaghan (Ally Walker).

According to Carter Matt, the "Longmire" season 5 cat is currently in New Mexico to film new episodes of the series. It is evidenced by series star Katee Sackhoff's photo she took on Twitter. On Mar. 24, Sackhoff, who plays Vic in the series, tweeteda photo of her and her co-star Taylor. In caption, she wrote "Day 2 episode 1.... Season 5... #Longmire @netflix #WaltAndVic #Longmire #Victheterror #Whatsgonnahappen."

Sackhoff and Taylor seem that they were enjoying filming the series in New Mexico. While the photo had not much to say about the series' story arc, it is assumed that the characters are set to embark a new journey and have a developing relationship.

"Longmire" season 5 is rumored to densely concentrate on Longmire's personal life, according to Day Herald. As per the publication, the fifth series installment is set to see the protagonist get to know Donna more and get attracted to her. However, rumors also revealed that the woman could be one of the hero's enemies, which halts their possibly developing dynamics.

According to Ecumenical News, Longmire is set to have a romance with Dr. Monaghan, which was cut short when the former's home was accessed by an intruder. As per the publication, it is unclear as to how "Longmire" season 5 is set to unfold; however, rumors have indicated that the season is set to be the continuation of season 4's aftermath.

"Longmire" season 5 is expected to premiere in September this year.
