What is coming up for "Longmire" Season 5? Well, aside from the fact that they left the fans wondering what would happen with Walt after being attacked while in the middle of an intimate moment with Donna, many are also curious about the "further casting scoop" that the production team has been mum about. But that does not mean that speculations have stopped so here's everything that the viewers need to know.

According to Carter Matt, a new character could be surfacing on the show while the return of an old character might be expected. The new character is said to be a young man who has died to Dr. Monahan, and they are referring to the return of Katee Sackhoff's character.

"Just read season 5 episode 4....@LongmirePosse is gonna be pretty d-n excited about who's coming back! #Longmire @netflix," the actress hints on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Louis Herthum also confirmed that his character, Omar, will be returning in "Longmire" Season 5, according to Parent Herald. 

More than that, TV Line also reported that Season 5 is currently casting some "Irish crime family members whom Walt will take an interest in with regards to a drugs-related murder."

Aside from the casting rumors, showrunners dropped hints about the "Longmire" Season 5 possible plot. Hunt Baldwin told Yahoo! TV that Vic and Walt's relationship status might be "complicated." 

"Obviously, I think that most fans know that there's some interesting tension between her and Walt. But there are also some new characters entering the world that are going to complicate that," he said.
