'Longmire' Season 4 News: ‘Longmire Days’ Festival to Launch Ahead of Premiere
With the production of 'Longmire' Season 4 already wrapped up, fans of the Warner's Western-inspired crime procedural television drama series are now eagerly waiting for the return of the largest fan festival devoted to the show, which is scheduled for this weekend.
Christian Today reports that currently the preparations for the upcoming event, called 'Longmire Days,' are in its final stages. The festival is dedicated to the critically acclaimed crime drama and will begin on Friday, July 17. It will culminate on Sunday, July 19. 'Longmire Days' will be organized in Buffalo, Wyoming, where the events in the series as well as the best-selling novels of Craig Johnson "Walt Longmire Mysteries" are set.
According to the report, fans attending the festival will get an opportunity to see the previous episodes from the first three seasons of 'Longmire.' The screening will start at 9 a.m. on Friday and continue till 3 p.m. at the Buffalo Theater on Friday. This will be followed by an autograph signing event that will feature the stars of the television show. The autograph signing event will start at 10 a.m. and continue till 2 p.m. at the Bomber Mountain Civic Center.
Author Craig Johnson on whose books the series is based will be joining the lead actor Robert Taylor and series advisor Marcus Red Thunder in a number of panel appearances on Friday.
Several screening schedules as well as autograph sessions will take place on Saturday, in addition to several fun events such as some Native American performances.
Actor Adam Bartley, who portrays The Freg, and Zahn McClarnon, who portrays Mathias in the series, will be attending the Motorcycle Poker Run. This event is scheduled for afternoon, and will be followed by a Poker Game at the Red Pony from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Cowboy Carousel Center.
Johnson and Taylor will return on Sunday to attend the closing festivities, which will include a charity concert and a barbecue party with the Bob Barnes Band and the remaining cast of 'Longmire' at the South Fork Mountain Lodge.
'Longmire' Season 4 will premiere on Netflix this fall.
