'Longmire' Season 4 Release Date: New Installment Premieres on Netflix - Summer 2015

Instead of being disheartened by A&E's cancellation decision, everyone joined forces to ensure that 'Longmire' get a new network and the show continues. Eventually, Netflix picked up the show and, much to the delight of its devoted fans, now 'Longmire' will run for a fourth season.

Recently, writer Tony Tost shared his experience about working with 'Longmire,' especially the way he got through life and how his perseverance helped him to get the job.

According to Christian Today, Tost recently tweeted, "I worked in a pickle factory. Now I have a Ph.D. from Duke & make a living writing. Community college was my door. #FreeCommunityCollege."

After the show was cancelled by A&E, reportedly without citing any acceptable reason, the producers of the show waited determinedly for some other network to pick it up. Even Tost was keenly waiting for 'Longmire' to be renewed and the setback did not dampen his spirit or that of his colleagues. Now, Tost is working hard to present the best storyline of the show so far.

An earlier report said that Tost usually keep tweeting songs while he writes the script for 'Longmire.' In fact, it is likely that Tost may get inkling from his tweets and he would be successful in dealing with one of the plots involving the story of Cady's mother. In fact, currently, the writer as well as the entire production team is most probably working on this issue for Season 4.

When 'Longmire' returns with Season 4 on Netflix, there will be some format changes in the show. Since now the show will be aired on Netflix, all the episodes of Season 4 will be filmed and then released one after another, instead of shooting new episodes while the show is running.

As of now, it is decided that the shooting for 'Longmire' Season 4 will begin in March, and the show will return on Netflix sometime in 2015 summer.
