'LittleBigPlanet' Marvel DLC On Sale, Gone After New Year?
LittleBigPlanet's agreement with Marvel comes to an end and the DLC's involving them will not be available anymore come 2016. Fans will only have until Thursday, December 31 to download the Marvel-themed costume packs and a level kit before they are permanently taken out of the market.
However, to give the gamers something to cheer about, the costumes packs will be sold for only 3.29 USD. That would be a great deal compared to its normal price of 5.99 USD.
Gamers should take advantage of this since according to Polygon, they will always be able to re-download the DLC if ever they want to delete it for some reason. As long as they have purchased it, there won't be any problem with having them again in the future.
Apparently, there are some issues with Marvel with regards to the company's licensing and agreements. According to International Business Times, Activision pulled out all of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2's DLCs after a year or so. The "Deadpool" video game and all of its DLCs were also removed from online stores, but apparently, the Steam version of it has resurfaced, along with the game's remastered version for PS4 and Xbox One.
The most popular games that got removed were "Marvel vs Capcom 2" and "Marvel vs Capcom: Origins." The game can still be downloaded by people who have purchased them in the past but people can't purchase them any more through PSN or Xbox Live.
So for those of you who wants to have those Marvel DLC's for "Little Big Planet," you better go purchase them now while you still can!
