Linsey Godfrey Accident News: ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Star Hit by Car - Both Legs Broken

Soap opera tragedies typically occur only on the television set. However, the recent news on Linsey Godfrey is all but acting. The "Bold and the Beautiful" soap opera star was recently hit by a car.

According to Hollywood Life, Godfrey was urgently rushed to the hospital following an incident where a moving car popped up a curb and ran over her. Upon entering the hospital, Godfrey was reported to undergo surgery and also had both of her legs broken.

TMZ claimed that the soap star was pinned under the car but a passerby was able to help get her out from underneath it. The incident, which occurred on February 2, 2015, struck Godfrey as she was walking down a Los Angeles sidewalk.

Apparently, the car that hit Godfrey was dodging to avoid hitting another traveling vehicle which is why it jumped the curb. There have been no charges or arrests made in the accident. This is much more difficult than the life of her character on the "Bold and the Beautiful," socialite Caroline Spencer.

It is indefinite how the injuries that have resulted from the car accident will impact her role on the long running daytime soap opera. According to People Magazine, the actress of the daytime drama is expected to make a full recovery, but it has had producers scrambling to figure out her character's storyline as taping schedules have been rearranged to accommodate Godfrey's hospital stay.

On a side note, the 26-year-old actress was nominated last year for an Emmy for daytime television. Fans have been sending an outpouring of love and support to her through social media.
