Apparently Liam Hemsworth, the twenty five year old star, has a new love interest. The Australian actor has not been in a relationship with anyone since he ended things with Miley Cyrus almost two years ago.

However, things are looking pretty heavy with his new lady, Maika Monroe.

The pair are both starring in the upcoming film Independence Day, and they have not been able to hide their affection for one another on set. OK! magazine reports on their on set romance.

"Everyone's noticed their mutual affection," the outlet reports. "Maika is smart and down to earth and has a zero drama personality, something Liam was attracted to immediately."

Besides their time together on set, the couple was spotted getting drinks together in Malibu on July 7th. In fact, they even attended a Fourth of July party together over the holiday weekend.

According to an eyewitness, they shared some public displays of affection. "His hand was on her butt as she was grinding into him and they were making out at the bar," the witness told Us Weekly.

While Monroe and Hemsworth have only been linked together recently, he has been spending more time with her than any other girl he has been linked to since his break up with Cyrus in 2013, it seems.

The Hunger Games star met Cyrus on the set of their movie The Last Song in 2009, and he popped the question in 2012.

However, after months of speculation the couple called it quits just a over a year later.

Monroe has been linked to a few A list hunks already as well. She has been linked to Zac Efron and Taylor Lautner.
