LG V20 Specs, Release Date News: South Korean Owners Start Downloading The Latest OS
While the rest of the world is waiting for news on the LG V20 Android Nougat update, some South Korean owners have already started downloading the latest OS.
This news confirmed earlier reports that LG V20 will be the first phone to feature the Android Nougat. In fact, it even beat out the Google Pixel for that claim.
Android Police said that LG did not exactly renege on its earlier boast, but launching exclusively in South Korea looked like a marketing gimmick. It said that the V20 needed a lot of boost considering that the company has been struggling to make waves in the smart phone industry. It even had to ditch the LG G5 because of paltry sales.
The features of the LG V20 include a 5.7-inch with 1440p resolution. It has 4 GB of RAM and internal storage of 64 GB with expandable memory card. The main snapper would be 16 MP with wide angle lens while the front camera is 5 megapixels. It will be run by Snapdragon 830 processor, as well as 3200mAh removable battery with quick charging tech.
The LG V20 has an aluminum casing that is even thinner than the Galaxy Note 7, which prompts doubts regarding its durability.
As for the rest of the world, they would have to wait for the news on the LG V20 Android Nougat rollout which would be announced "in the next several weeks." The update will hit V20 owners in North America, Asia, Middle East and Latin America.
