The new flagship LG G6 is rumored to have a release date of April 2017. However, it must be said that there's no official news from the company to confirm this speculation.

The basis for the release date theory is apparently historical. For instance, the LG G5 was launched in April 2015 after it was announced in February. Two years back the LG G4 was also launched in April.

It must be noted, however, that there are also rumors about the LG G6 release date will be in September next year.

The news and rumors also estimated the price of the LG G6 to be around the $650-$750 range.

As to the specs, the news and rumors have agreed that the LG G6 will feature the following:

- Snapdragon Qualcomm Octa-core 3.0 GHz processor

- 5GB of RAM with either 32GB, 64GB and 128GB internal storage (expandable through microSD)

- 5.6-inch display with 4K resolution (4096x2160p)

- Corning Gorilla Glass 4

- 24 megapixel main camera, 7 MP for the front snapper

The battery of the LG G6 is also a good news considering that it features 4200mAh, which is a good enough battery for the phone's size.

Other features include fingerprint scanner, rapid charging, bendable display, retina eye scanner, wireless charging and mini-projector.

In terms of the design, the LG G6 will reportedly have a tempered glass back as opposed to the painted aluminum casing for its predecessor.
