LG G5 Release Date, Price, Specs: AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile Scramble To Come Up With Best Deals For Latest Gadget
With the official release date on April 1, US major carriers have been scrambling to come up with the best deals on the LG G5 for their potential clients.
For instance, AT&T is offering 0% 30-month installment at $22.97 a month or a full retail price for the LG G5 of $688.
But the carrier is also offering some freebies to sweeten the deal such as a buy-one-get-one promo, an LG Watch Urbane LTE which buyers can get at a discount.
T-Mobile, meanwhile, is offering a full retail price of $629.99 for the LG G5 or $26.25 per month for two years. The carrier is also giving away an LG Battery Bundle with battery and docking station.
It's the same freebie from Verizon, which offers LG G5 for the price of $624 or monthly installments of $26 for two years.
Although the release date for the LG G5 was on April 1, AT&T-and most other US carriers as well-have started receiving pre-orders or even orders before that launch.
The 5.3-inch LG G5 boasts of powerful specs at 1440x2560 resolution with 554ppi pixel density, as well as a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 for the display panel. It runs on Android v6.0.1 Marshmallow and powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Kryo Dual Core 2.15 GHz and Dual Core 1.2 GHz mated to Adreno 530 GPU.
As for the other Specs of LG G5, it has a 16 MP primary camera and 8 MP front facing camera, v3.0 USB Type-C, 2800 mAh removable battery and is available in Pink, Silver, Gold, Titan colors.
LG has previously announced that the release date for the G5 will be released in early April.
