LG G5 Price, Specs, Release Date Rumors: New Flagship Coming To US April 1?

Only a few weeks to go before the official release date of LG G5 both in the US and UK, which is reportedly going to be on Apr. 1.

According to Tech Radar, rumored release date for LG G5 is earlier than first anticipated.

The reason for the early release date announcement could have something to do with what happened last year when Samsung Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9 jumped the gun on the LG G4, which obviously affected sales in the US market.

"LG isn't allowing the Samsung Galaxy S7 and HTC One M10 to do the same all over again. The HTC 10 is supposed to take the bucket seat in April," it said.

As to the preview of the features, multiple rumors have claimed that the phone is going to be equipped with Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage, which can be expanded to 200 GB. Gamers would also be happy with the gadget since it features the Adreno 530 GPU.

Most preview articles confirmed that the LG G5 is equipped with fast-charging tech allowing the user to charge up to 83% in just half an hour.

With the rumored release date announcement for the LG G5, US service carriers are trying to offer the best deals to their subscribers.

T-Mobile, for instance, is offering a free LG 360 VR cam, which is worth about $200 in retail, or a battery bundle valued at $80 for every purchase of an LG G5. The carrier also set a pre-order date on Mar. 29 for a reported price point of $630.
