LG G4 Specs Leak, Rumors: Both Plastic & Leather Backend Variant Photos Leaked?
The unveiling date for the new flagship phone under the multinational electronics and telecommunications company, LG has been pulled out of the company. The LG G4 is confirmed to be shown publicly on April 28, 2015 bringing an end to rumors about the device's specifications. However, these speculations are not drying up just yet as the latest LG G4 leaks are taking over cyberspace.
Just a few hours ago, Evan Blass tweeted the full image of the upcoming LG G4 which he had come across wandering into a product microsite. The images were leaked very early in the day but now they have been removed from the Internet.
The upcoming flagship phone is said to have a leather backend as well as a plastic version. Both versions come in different colors. The leather version will sport the following color schemes: black, standard orange leather, cranberry, baby blue, gold and yellow. Meanwhile, there are three colors available for the plastic version: metallic gray, white, and gold.
One notable factor for the product is the 13 megapixel camera having a f/1.8 aperture lens, quicker than the LG G3. With this being said, the camera is amped up to take images with vivid colors that would seem natural and bright. The camera has both auto and manual modes, with laser auto focus and infrared technology which would measure up the colors to balance before taking the shot.
Also, the screen adopts a 5.5 inch LG Quantum technology used usually on the brand's recent televisions sets.
What's more, the new LG G4 includes a 3,000 mAH battery for wireless charging, 2.5 GHZ quad-core Snapdragon processor on 2 GB or 3 GB worth of RAM on the any of 16GB and 32GB memory storage, mircroUSB 2.0, 4G LTE, and Bluetooth 4.0 NFC. Despite Android 4.4.2 Kitkat as initial info on the operating system, LG G4 may take on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS as seen in the leaked photos.
The leaked photos are kept securely on AndroidCentral just hours before the LG has removed the product microsite. A source code was found on the LG G4 countdown site which traced down the primary location of the images uploaded on AndroidCentral.
