With the Samsung Galaxy S6 and HTC One M9 already released, the focus is shifting to the LG Electronics' upcoming G4 smartphone. There are new rumors about the possible specs of the highly-anticipated device on the Internet almost every day, and now a leaked image of the purported smartphone shows that it may have a curved design.

According to Tech Radar, it looks that the leaked image of the purported device has certainly been done professionally, but @OnLeaks, who posted it, states that the image is early and not the final design of the upcoming smartphone from LG. Hence, the actual design may undergo several changes before the flagship smarphone is finally launched.

However, even if the design remains as it appears in the leaked image, tech enthusiasts would not have much to complain about. Maybe, the most interesting aspect of the leaked design is that the back of the device seems to be somewhat curved, which is an indication that like its rival Samsung; LG too has packed a curved screen into the device. Nevertheless, one cannot be sure about it at this stage.

From the leaked image, it appears that the camera of the purported LG G4 may also be somewhat different, as the lens appears to be a little larger compared to the 13MP shooter on the LG G3. In fact, the camera in the design seems to stick out slightly.

Apart from these aspects, the purported LG G4 has an appearance very similar to the LG G3. The leaked image shows that the rear key makes a return, although with a little different design, and it seems to have a laser autofocus as well as dual-LED flash very similar to its predecessor.

The rear too looks very similar, hinting that it might be a metallic effect again, instead of actual metal. However, earlier rumors suggested that LG's upcoming flagship smartphone will have a metal casing.

The leaked image also suggested the possible dimensions of the upcoming device. According to it, the LG G4 will possibly measure 148.9 x 76.5 x 9.9 mm. In comparison, the LG G3 has a dimension of 146.3 x 74.6 x 8.9 mm. Therefore, if these features are correct, the LG G4 will be longer, wider and thicker compared to its predecessor.

Whether the specs suggested by the leaked image will be true can only be ascertained in April or May 2015, when LG is expected to launch its upcoming flagship smartphone.
