LG G3 vs Motorola Moto G; Specs and Features Comparison - Higher Specs Higher Cost

The ongoing competition for bigger, better, faster smartphones has mobile companies always trying to create devices that will outperform their competition. With that, comparisons between upcoming models is always a trend, this time, its LG and Motorola.

The LG G3 smartphone will be launched in July 11 on the AT&T provider in the US. For people who want to get their hands on the phone, they will have to subscribe to the telcom company. The Moto G on the other hand is still waiting for the latest Android L to be on the market before they release the phone.

For now, comparisons are being made between the two based on their specs and prices.

Firstly, the LG G3 looks bigger than the Moto G. It is also thinner, but heavier than its competitor.

The LG G3 has a larger screen and a higher resolution than the Moto G. The G3 has a 5.5-inch quad high definition display with a screen resolution of 2560x1440. Meanwhile, the Moto G only has a 4.5-inch display with a screen resolution of 1280x720 pixels.

Speed wise, both phones sport the same processors, but with the G3 having the faster version. The G3's Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor had 2.5GHz while Moto G's Snapdragon 400 processor only sped for 1.2 GHz.

Both phones will be running on the Android 4.4 KitKat except that Moto G is awaiting for the Android L update.

The LG G3 is currently going for $750 while the Moto G only costs $200. The price gap between the two is huge, and understandable since the Moto G is brandishing lesser specs than the LG G3.
