LG's long awaited flagship smartphone is rumored to be released in the 2nd quarter of 2014. The G3 has been highly anticipated as a revolutionary device and has been sought after by smartphone aficionados for quite some time.

According to gottabemobile.com, leakster reveals, "those in the United States have a bit longer to wait, with Verizon not offering the flagship handset until July 17th. According to his sources Verizon will officially start LG G3 pre-orders on the 10th of July, then one week later launch the device in carrier stores around the globe. He states G3 pre-orders "start" on the 10th with Verizon, which could hit to Verizon being the first US carrier to offer the handset, or that could just mean they start that day for Verizon Wireless customers."

When LG announced the smartphone officially on May 27, people began raving about the new features it will bring to the table. Techtimes.com said "The LG G3 is the first smartphone to ship with a jaw-dropping 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440 quad HD display. To put things in perspective, Samsung's Galaxy S5 features a 5.1-inch 1920 x 1080 Super AMOLED display and Apple's current flagship iPhone 5s is using a 4-inch 1136 x 640 Retina display."  

LG has not made mention of the phone's cost when it becomes availiable to consumers, but speculation peggs it with a higher than average price due to its latest hardware/software. The camera alone is a major upgrade from current smartphone cameras with its 13-megapixel rear with Optical Image Stabilization and laser autofocus.

Gottabemobile.com insinuates that this a "must have" smartphone, "The new LG G3 was announced on May 27th with no US release date in sight, but for the manufacturers home country it went up for sale the same day. Reports have surfaced that the LG G3 sold over 133,000 units in the first week in Asia, and with the device being available now for more than a few weeks those numbers surely have risen."

Evleaks (popular Twitter figure) confers with gottabemobile.com and has also stated that the Verizon LG G3 will officially be for sale on July 17th, with pre-orders starting a week earlier on the 10th.
