LG G Flex 2 vs Apple iPhone 6 Plus Review: Specs, Features, & Price Comparison
LG has just announced its upcoming LG G Flex 2 smartphone during the International 2015 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and it's already being compared to another flagship phone, the iPhone 6 Plus.
Interested consumers may be interested to see how the two smartphones fared when pitted against each other, with comparisons being made online via sites such as Phone Arena, BGR, NDTV and more.
The G Flex 2 features a curved shape and plastic build with a 5.5 inch HD curved P-OLED display and a 1920x1080 screen resolution. The iPhone 6 Plus, on the other hand, has an aluminum design with a 5.5 inch Retina HD display and a similar 1920x1080 screen resolution.
The G Flex 2 is lighter than its competition however, coming at 152 grams to the iPhone 6 Plus's 172 grams. The G Flex 2 also has its power and volume buttons at the back of the handset, which may confuse some who are used to the traditional placing at the sides as seen with the iPhone 6 Plus.
The G Flex 2 operates with the 2GHz octacore Snapdragon 810 processor, comes with 2GB of RAM and runs on the Android 5.0 Lollipop with a 3000 mAh battery. The iPhone 6 Plus runs on the 1.4 GHz dual core Apple A8 processor, 1GB RAM and runs on iOS 8.1 with a 2915 mAh battery.
The G Flex 2 also comes with either 16 or 32 GB of internal storage and micro SD support, while the iPhone 6 Plus boasts 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128 GB of internal storage.
The G Flex 2 has a front camera of 2.1mp and a rear camera of 13mp compared to the iPhone 6 Plus's 1.2mp front camera and 8mp rear camera. Both phones come with optical image stabilization, geotagging and autofocus. However, the iPhone 6 Plus offers a bit more with panorama, slow-mo and smile detection, HDR capture and more.
However, no price has yet been set for the LG G Flex 2, which is coming out sometime at the end of the month in Korea, while the iPhone 6 Plus comes in at $805.
