Lenovo Phab Plus Release News: Specs, Features, Price and Availability

Chinese tech giant Lenovo has just launched the Lenovo Phab Plus handset for China. The new device will be available to people in China via China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom. However, the company has yet to provide any information regarding the availability of the device outside China.

IB Times reports that the smartphone will apparently sport a gigantic 6.8-inch display, supported by 1,080 x 1,920 pixels screen resolution, which translates to a pixel density of 324 ppi. Lenovo Phab Plus will reportedly cost 2,599 yuan (about $407).

In tems of software, the Phab Plus is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset, in conjunction with a 64-bit octa-core processor, clocked at 1.5 GHz and supported by 2 GB of RAM. In addition, the Lenovo Phab Plus comes equipped with 32 GB of in-built storage capacity in addition to microSD card support for futher expansion.

According to Phone Arena, the new smartphone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop, together with custom Vibe user interface. The handset also packs a huge 3,500 mAh battery unit. As far as the camera configuration is concerned, the Lenovo Phab Plus features a 13-megapixel rear-facing sensor, alongside a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper for selfies.

The other specifications of Lenovo Phab Plus include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, microUSB port as well as Dolby Atmos Surround Sound for clear audio.

The Lenovo Phab Plus is just 7.6 mm thick and weighs 220 grams. The device comes in a number of interesting color options such as Metallic Gray, Midnight Blue, Neon Pink and Elegant Silver platinum.
