Lenovo K80 Features, Specs, Release Date News: New Device Launch to Compete with ASUS Zenfone 2
An upbeat Lenovo has been releasing a string of smartphones this year with a view to take on its rivals. Incidentally, coinciding with the launch of ASUS Zenfone 2 in India, Lenovo released a new smartphone with 4GB RAM memory and 4000 mAh battery. In fact, the Zenfone 2 is the first smartphone that offered memory of 4GB RAM.
According to IB Times, the latest Lenovo smartphone has been named K80 and, in addition to featuring 4GM RAM, the device is powered by an impressive 4000 mAh battery. Lenovo K80 will be released officially in China on April 30.
As far as the specs of the new smartphone are concerned, the K80 sports a 5.5-inch display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution. The device offers 64GB of internal storage space. K80 is equipped with a 64-bit 1.8GHz Atom processor, in addition to boasting a 13MP rear main camera with optical-image-stabilization ability.
Under the hood, the Lenovo K80 runs on the latest Android OS 5.0.2 Lollipop. The device will be available in three color options - red, black, and silver. A different variation of the same model will come with a 2GB RAM plus 32GB inbuilt storage. Lenovo K80 has been priced at 1,499 Chinese Yen, which roughly translates to USD $242.
In comparison, the ASUS Zenfone 2 is a premium smartphone featuring a 5.5-inch 1080p display and runs on similar Android 5 Lollipop and is ZenUI user interface. The ASUS device is equipped with a 64-bit 2.3GHz Atom processor suitably supported by a 4GB RAM and 32GB ROM memory. On the contrary, the battery of ASUS Zenfone 2 comes with a 3,000 mAh capacity, about 1,000 mAh less compared to the latest Lenovo K80.
