'LEGO Jurassic World' New Gameplay Trailer, News: New VideoGame Releases in June 2015 [VIDEO]

The latest installment in the LEGO video game franchise is sure to please the most veteran of gamers to the smallest of newcomers. LEGO Jurassic World released another trailer on Monday, this time featuring some of the actual gameplay.

LEGO Jurassic World will incorporate the first three iconic Steven Spielberg films, Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III as well as the new Jurassic World film, which hits theaters on June 12. The games will feature famous scenes with voice overs from the actual films while keeping to LEGO's light humor.

According to IGN, the game will feature over 100 playable characters, each with their own set of unique powers. For example when Dr. Ellie Sattler cures the Triceratops in the first film, players will then have the ability to stomp like the dinosaur, causing things to tumble over with ease.

The game will also feature its signature puzzles that are both friendly and challenging. LEGO Jurassic World will have over 20 stages, five levels for each movie.

The LEGO video games are some of the biggest units to date with over 100 million units sold. Other series such as Mario, Pokémon, Need for Speed, Final Fantasy, Grand Theft Auto and FIFA have also reached that mark. It's a number that has been accomplished by few, according to Games Spot.

LEGO video games began in the 1990s but the company really took off in the industry in 2005 with the original LEGO Star Wars. Warner Bros. has released countless other LEGO and movie infused video games since then such as Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones, The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and Rock Band.

LEGO Jurassic World is set to release sometime in June.
