The "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 trailer has been released and spoilers introduced those who are new to the comics lore to the Justice Society of America. Just what is this group of superhero and how does it connects to our favorite anti-hero characters?

According to Digital Spy, the Justice Society of America was the forerunner of DC's Justice League. Remember that this was in the 1940s so the members of the secret group could be considered as lame by today's standards.

The members of the society were The Flash, Green Lantern, Sandman, Hawkman, Doctor Fate, Atom, Spectre and Hourman or Rex Tyler, who is played by "Suits" star Patrick J. Adams, based on the "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 trailer.

Tyler might be able to control time but it's extremely limited since it would cease to function after 60 minutes, thus Hourman. Now, how the JSA will connect to the current heroes would be something to look forward to.

According to the "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 spoilers, the team just finished getting rid of Vandal Savage when they are confronted with a new threat. They again join forces to put a stop to some "temporal aberrations" that could end in tragedy if not averted. They find themselves back in 1942, hoping to prevent a kidnapping of a very familiar name-Albert Einstein.

In the "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 trailer, people will also see an older Barry Allen and probably get a deeper insight about how the speed force works.
