'Legends of Tomorrow' Plot Speculations, News: Hawkman to First Appear in ‘Arrow’ and ‘The Flash’

In 'Legends of Tomorrow,' the upcoming television series on The CW, viewers will see superheroes and supervillains together with one goal - to prevent an impending threat. It is expected that the show will introduce the character Hawkman, possibly to assist Kendra Sauders to become Hawkgirl. However, the superhero will not be making his first appearance on this show.

Quoting a report in Entertainment Weekly, Christian Today states that the winged defender named Carter Hill first appear in 'Arrow' and 'The Flash.' According to the description of the Hawkman released by the network, Hill is "charismatic and wide beyond his years" and he is a "natural-born leader with abundance of charm and confidence."

In fact, by the time the 'Legends of Tomorrow' and its parent series introduce Hawkman, the superhero will be around 5,000 years old. Those who are familiar with the character's traits in the comics will be aware that his memories of previous lives remain integral even when he takes on a new life. In addition, he is also a love interest to Hawkgirl, who is all probability, would not know who Hawkman is, albeit in the beginning.

A report in Screen Rant claims that Hawkman will appear looking for the "reborn" Hawkgirl and pass on the news to Kendra Saunders of her superhero rebirth. The report further states that Hawkgirl will be introduced in 'The Flash' the same manner as the White Canary would be coming to life in 'Arrow.'

As far as White Canary is concerned, executive Marc Guggenheim recently told E! Online that Sara will be born again as the assassin who will be joining the heroes as well as villains in 'Legends of Tomorrow' with a view to stop Vandal Savage.

Guggenheim told the publication, "The White Canary will be launched in the first few episodes of 'Arrow.' 4×08, our typical crossover episode, will be doing a lot of heavy-lifting in terms of getting 'Legends of Tomorrow' characters set up and also seeing where they are with relation to 'The Flash.' It's a big episode."

Currently, speculations are rife that there will be ramifications as well as changes in Sara's personality following her rebirth. However, as of now there is no information regarding how much the healing waters of the Lazarus Pit will transform the assassin.

'Legends of Tomorrow' is slated to premiere on The CW early next year.
