"Suits" actor Patrick J. Adams has joined the large cast ensemble of The CW's hit television series "Legends of Tomorrow." Also, some rumors have surfaced that this unknown superhero is Green Lantern.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Adams has been tapped to play a mysterious DC character in the season finale of "Legends of Tomorrow," which is in line with previous rumors.

The website writes that the identity of Adams' character is yet to be revealed, but a source allegedly told the publication that the actor is set to play a fun character that fans will love.

Cinema Blend reports that Adams' character in "Legends of Tomorrow" is set to be Green Lantern, one of the members of the Justice League. If this is true, previous rumors that Adams would be playing Booster Gold is debunked and his casting as the power ring owner could possibly lead him to play the same character in Zack Snyder's "Justice League" films.

Aside from Aaron Kosch's comedy drama series "Suits," Adams is also known for his roles in Todd Phillip's comedy film "Old School," Adam Jay Epstein and Andrew Jacobson's comedy film "Extreme Movie," and Blane Weaver's comedy film "Weather Girl."

"Legends of Tomorrow" season 1 episode 16 is entitled "Legendary." However, details on its synopsis and air date are yet to be revealed. For the time being, fans are set to see episode 10, which is entitled "Progeny."

As per Spoilers Guide, the episode is set to see Rip tell the team that they are going to the future to meet Savage's potential alliance whom the latter needs to bring the planet to his hands.

According to Rip, the ally is a 14-year-old boy, who is fated to become an evil dictator. With this knowledge, the group had split views on whether they should kill a child in order to save the world. The episode will also see Sara and Snart through a rough patch while Ray discovers something that could affect his and Kendra's future.

"Legends of Tomorrow" season 1 episode 10, "Progency," is set to air on April 7 while episode 16 is yet to be announced.
