'Legend of Zelda' For Wii U Release Date, News, Rumors: Gameplay Demo Set To Be Held At E3 In June?

Nintendo will be making their presence felt during the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) which will be held in June. The way they'll do it is by showing of their latest developments on the "Legend of Zelda" videogame.

According to iDigital Times, Nintendo will be having a "Zeldabooth" and in that booth, they will be running a demo of the game. The booth will be running from June 14th up until June 16th. The gameplay will be livestreamed at 12 p.m EDT on the very first day.

Gamers would also have an opportunity to try and experience playing the game for themselves at the event. Also according to the site, unlike the previous editions of the game, the Wii U and Nintendo NX Legend of Zelda will be on an open-world theme. The game may be influenced by the previous 3DS Zelda, Link Between Worlds.

In other news, according to News Everyday, due to some "emerging possibilities" of the game, Nintendo has made an official statement regarding the postponement of the game's Wii U release to next year. The game was scheduled to be released some time this year but due to the potential seen under the leadership of Eiji Aonuma, fans would have to wait until 2017. Despite that, it will be definitely be worth the wait because of the improvements that will be made on the game.

The Legend of Zelda is a Japanese fantasy action and adventure series of video games created by Shigeru Miyamoto and Takashi Tezuka. The very first edition of the game was released on February 21, 1986.
