'Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild' News, Release Date: Game Unveils Three New Kinds Of Arrows [WATCH]
New details on the gameplay of Nintendo's "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" have surfaced.
On Aug. 27, Nintendo of America took to Twitter a clip of the game's gameplay. In caption, the studio wrote "Fire, Ice, and Bomb Arrows - oh my!" The video sees Link walking on the field and gets an arrow from behind. The screen displays four kinds of arrow, the regular, fire, ice, and bomb.
The arrows' names imply their use. The fire arrow unleashed flames upon contact while the ice arrow freezes an opponent, as seen in the trailer. Also, the bomb arrow explodes when it hits. Overall, the new arrows are assumed to provide players more strategies when battling foes in the game.
Aside from the featured arrows, "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" will also see Link's expertise in using his other weapons.
On Aug. 24, Nintendo released on Facebook a gameplay footage for the game and in caption, the studio wrote "Check out a few of the weapons you'll be able to use in The Legend of Zelda: Breathe of the Wild."
The clip opens with Link moving forward; however, two pig monsters are blocking his way. Link managed to take down the two. Another scene sees Link in battle monsters in other areas in the game and a notable one is a skeleton.
"The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" is set to be released for the Nintendo Wii U in 2017.
