LeEco Prepares Big US Product Launch News: Full Lineup Of New TVs, Smartphones, Gadgets And Consumer Electronics

Even though Chinese tech company LeEco is about to have its United Status product launch debut, and has been in the news for about two months now, not many people are familiar with the company. Here's a briefer on what it is all about, as well as the full launch lineup.

LeEco is based in Beijing and was in the news just this year when it acquired TV manufacturer, Vizio, for $2 billion. It aims to build a digital ecosystem for smart homes and buildings.

According to its website, LeEco is "a leading global company born from the internet, LeEco seamlessly blends devices, content, applications and distribution in a first-of-its kind ecosystem. This innovative approach puts extraordinary experiences in the hands of millions of people all over the world."

When LeEco will have its US product launch, expect smart TVs, smart phones, headphones, dash cameras, e-bicycles, VR headsets, electric cars, all at affordable prices. It has certainly come a long way with its full lineup considering that the company started in video streaming.

Included in the US product launch is the smart phone by LeEco, which has a 5.5-inch display, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage, a Snapdragon 821 processor, a main camera at 16 MP and capable of 4K videos, and fingerprint scanner.

As Danny Bowman, Chief Revenue Officer of LeEco North America explained, "If you were to take Apple, Amazon, Paramount Pictures, Tesla, Uber and Netflix and combine all of those companies, you get what LeEco does in China."
