'It's All Relative' star and former 'King of Queens' star Leah Remini just recently started a new beginning, officially in her new life and in her daughter's new life being officially baptized as a Catholic. Being known to have previously associated with the Church of Scientology, Remini reveals her joy in finally cutting ties with the organization and joining the Catholic Church.

Remini shared a photo of her family including her daughter Sofia who was then wearing a white dress for her baptism. "A very special day for our little girl and her Godparents @crabichuk wanted to share with all of you," she wrote on Instagram adding, "#baptism #catholic #newbeginnings."

Meanwhile, Remini's husband Angelo Pangan also shared the priceless moment of when their daughter Sofia was actually being baptised with the holy water posting it on his Instagram with the caption, "For the record @leahremini and I have always been Catholic...It was a beautiful experience and our little angel is on her way to a more spiritual existence. God Bless!"

It was a good day for the family especially since Remini had always shared her desire to baptize her daughter in the Catholic Church since it was an important aspect in her life and also revealed that she would want her daughter to have the same life.

She revealed it previously on her show 'It's All Relative' saying "I decided I didn't want to raise my daughter in the church because from what I experience and what I saw, the church becomes your everything," she explained adding, "It becomes your mother, your father, your everything. You are dependent on the church."

"If you're raised in it as a child, you really don't have loyalty to your family. The church does come first to you and that is what we would be teaching Sofia. And I just didn't want her to be raised that way."
