'Lara Croft GO' PS4 Release Date, Rumors Update: Puzzle Game Going From Mobile Platform To Console

Just like "Hitman GO" back in February this year, "Lara Croft GO" is coming to PS4 from its original mobile platform iterations, news reports revealed.

"Lara Croft GO" was both a commercial and critical success when it launched on mobile. It won the Mobile Game of the Year from People's Choice, IGN and New York Game Awards. It also won the iPhone Game of the Year from Apple as well as recognition from The Game Awards.

A trophy list for the game turned up on Exophase, which suggested that "Lara Croft GO" is coming to PS4 and PS Vita.

There's no news yet on the gameplay for the "Lara Croft GO" on PS4 and Vita, but it's safe to assume it's the same as in the original mobile version.

The description for the game read:

"Lara Croft GO is a turn based puzzle-adventure set in a long-forgotten world. Explore the ruins of an ancient civilization, discover well-kept secrets and face deadly challenges as you uncover the myth of the Queen of Venom."

In the mobile version, you can navigate by swiping the screen as well as movement controls. You can battle enemies and try to maneuver through the obstacles and around the deadly traps. There are 101 puzzles in the game which are divided into six chapters. You can collect trophies and rewards to customize your character.

You can probably get more news on "Lara Croft GO" on PS4, and probably glean some ideas on the gameplay, during the PlayStation Experience from Dec. 2-3.
