Lady Gaga News: Newly Engaged Singer Cast in FX 'American Horror Story' Series for Season 5
Lady Gaga is all set to star in the Season 5 of the popular FX series "American Horror Story,' as she signed on as a regular for the show.
Gaga took to Twitter and announced her role in the series, along with a video and the new title and the theme of the upcoming season. According to her tweet, the theme for the next season is "Hotel.'
She tweeted, saying, "Make your reservation now. #GagaAHSHotel."
In the video clip posted on her Twitter account, she is seen removing her black, sequin mask from her face to announce the title of "American Horror Story' Season 5. This will be Gaga's first role in a major production.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the creators of the show, Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk have been in touch with since last fall. Murphy said that once the right role was crafted for her, she was fully on board.
Speaking about the casting, actress Sarah Paulson said "I had a bit of an inkling, because Murphy told me, but I kept it a secret. I finally said to him the other day, "If you don't announce this soon, I'm going to bust. I'm going to say something!" according to Vulture.
The show has so far completed four seasons. Every season has a unique plot and storyline, where the actors keep changing for every season for the starring roles.
Talking about the plot of the next season, Murphy has said that the clues about the fifth season's theme have been scattered throughout the fourth season, and that the previous four seasons are somehow connected, according to Variety.
"American Horror Story' Season 5 is expected to premiere this year in October.
