Lady Gaga Joins Boyfriend Taylor Kinney For Mass At Pennsylvania Church
Lady Gaga was spotted with her boyfriend Taylor Kinney in Pennsylvania at the Grandview United Methodist Church, where she attended the service and even praised worship singer Liz Fulmer.
The "Born This Way" singer was reportedly in town to visit Kinney's family, as well as join in the baptism of a child in Kinney's family. During the service, Gaga took note of Fulmer and even tried to talk to the singer and compliment her personally for her talent.
During the 10 am service held on Dec. 28, 24-year-old Fulmer claimed she was nervous after hearing that Gaga was going to be present and will hear her sing. However, she pushed through despite the nerves.
Fulmer, who is part of the Celebration Team leadership of the church, performed her original song "He Is Coming." It was a song she wrote herself in time for Christmas Eve, and said it was "about how Bethlehem is still pertinent today. It's not just an old story."
"People told me that she whispered to her boyfriend that I was good," she told Lancaster Online.
Gaga, who was spotted dolled up in a white dress and pearls and even filmed part of the proceedings, reportedly tried to come up and talk to Fulmer. It was unfortunate timing though, as Fulmer stepped out to catch her breath and the two missed each other.
"That would have been amazing. Missed connection," Fulmer said.
It didn't deter the international singer though, and Fulmer admitted that Gaga found a way to contact by asking a friend for Fulmer's number.
According to Fulmer, the text read, "Hi Liz, it's Gaga. You were sensational. Keep up the amazing work." Gaga also offered advice on a music career and said Fulmer could even forward her works to Gaga through Kinney's aunt.
"It was a very generous offer," the younger singer said. She also added, "It was all very serendipitous for me."
